Unitec Agro was founded in 1996, with the installation of a cutting edge agricultural and livestock farm in the provinces of Chaco and Formosa in the north of Argentina. The company specializes in farming, cattle raising, agro-industries, organic products, as well as investment in research and development of techniques for the improvement of its business units.

Among its most significant features, the farm has:

- Modern and automated premises that allow the company to maintain a significant market share of cotton fiber production.
- 20.000 productive hectares, equipped with a low irrigation system, in which planting is carefully planned so as to optimize the soil natural resources and assess crop performance.
- 87.000 hectares used for livestock, with 100% natural grass feeding for breeding, rebreeding and fattening of calves of Brangus, Braford and Bonsmara breeds.

Over the past months, the company has been leading a state-of-the-art genetic creation project in order to improve the technological and production processes implemented to obtain high quality meet for export.
